Shantel Washington
I am a single, hardworking mother to a teenage son, and I navigate life while managing high-functioning anxiety and periods of depression, which deeply shapes my commitment to building spaces centered on honesty, care, and emotional wellness. I am the founder of Big Girl Talk and Resources and the creator of Big Girl Book Club, spaces dedicated to empowering women through honest conversation, personal growth, and meaningful community. My work is rooted in creating safe, supportive environments where women, especially Black women and other women of color, feel seen, heard, and encouraged to grow in confidence, purpose, healing, and entrepreneurship.
