The #LookForward Youth Advocacy Council empowers high school teens (grades 9-12) to become future leaders and mental health advocates. As part of the 8-week program, we’ll equip you with the tools to develop essential skills, connect with peers, and build self-confidence as a changemaker. Your parents will also receive valuable resources to support your leadership journey and celebrate your successes.

    Connect with inspiring peers passionate about amplifying mental health advocacy in their communities. Receive mentorship and gain valuable insights from experts in mental health, education, and leadership.

    POWERING NEXT-GEN LEADERS

    Be eligible to earn volunteer hours, receive a certificate of completion, and apply for a $500 project stipend. Receive a SeekHer letter of recommendation to support your future resume-building and college applications.

LEarn the basics of mental health advocacy, build your leadership skills, and ignite your passion for making a difference in your community.

This 8-week program is designed to help you develop the skills and knowledge to become an effective mental health advocate. By the end of the program, you will create a step-by-step plan to start your own advocacy project and gain confidence in making a difference in your community. The Spring 2026 cohort kicks off the week of March 2 and concludes the week of April 20.

Throughout the #LookForward journey, you’ll be supported by a team that’s in your corner. Youth Council Advisors are alumni who’ve been where you are — and they’re back to walk with you as peer mentors, offering encouragement, insight, and real talk along the way.
