Take a moment for yourself as we explore the power of community & collective healing for our mental well-being.

In celebration of author and therapist Minaa B.’s newest book “Owning our Struggles: A Path to Healing and Finding Community In A Broken World,” this intimate gathering will bring together women who are ready to cultivate self-care practices that support their mental well-being while exploring what it means to heal ourselves and one another.

About The Speakers

Minaa B. is a licensed social worker, writer, and author of Owning Our Struggles. She is also the founder of Minaa B. Consulting, a mental health consulting practice that helps organizations develop psychological safety and promote mental health inclusivity. Minaa is an expert in her field, serving on the Mental Health Advisory Committee for Wondermind, a mental fitness company co-founded by Selena Gomez. She has been featured in various media outlets, such as Red Table Talk, Peace of Mind With Taraji, BBC, and Essence. Minaa resides in New York City, and you can learn more about her by visiting www.minaab.com.

Chelsey Reese is an Atlanta native, who has called Los Angeles home for 6+ years. She is a relational therapist, registered yoga teacher, certified sound healer, and the founder of the health and wellness platform, Power Through Process. In her therapy practice, she works with teens, adults, couples, and families to help them release stress, tension, and trauma to better connect to themselves and the world around them. She also facilitates therapy groups and hosts events centered on building community and engaging in healing. She is passionate about holding space for others and promoting mental health and emotional wellbeing.

Dr. Monica Mo is the founder of SeekHer Foundation and WellSeek, a social impact collective & community organization dedicated to helping women thrive in their work and life. A former biotech scientist turned social impact advisor and mental health advocate, she has spent nearly a decade activating communities through story-driven science that dissects wellness with a human-forward lens. Featured on Forbes, The Wall Street Journal, Thrive Global, Motherly, and more, she champions women’s mental health through community care by bridging advocates and allies with a shared vision to power more women for the greater good.
