“I envision a future where women's unique strengths are valued as the assets that research proves them to be. Women-led companies, for example, outperform male-led companies, and yet, less than 5% of venture capital is invested in female-led startups. We need to correct that.

For centuries, women have had to work harder, achieve more, and balance more responsibilities for less pay, which has equipped women to be especially skilled in talents like ruthless prioritization, work ethic, time management, delegation, and culture building. I'd love to see our society invest more in women, recruit and reward more women in leadership positions, celebrate more women who have written and are constantly rewriting history, and consult with women on the problems and opportunities that deeply affect them and those they have close contact with, like children and families.

Our international community is facing a worsening mental health crisis, which skills like empathy, compassion, and community can go a long way in solving. A number of existential crises are facing us and our communities. Embracing women at the helm gives us the best fighting chance to thrive.”
